Second City has released the lineup for its big, 50th-anniversary mainstage show Dec. 12. Titled “The Second City Alumni: One Night Only,” the show will be staged in both of Second City’s mainstage and e.t.c. theaters. Here’s the latest lineup of names. It’s quite a list:

Scott Adsit, Jim Belushi, Danny Breen, Frank Caeti, Larry Joe Campbell, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Dan Castellaneta, Kevin Dorff, Robin Duke, Brian Gallivan, Martin Garcia, Jeff Garlin, Ian Gomez, Peter Grosz, Mike Hagerty, Isabella Hoffman, Bruce Jarchow, Fred Kaz, Tim Kazurinsky, Keegan Michael Key, Richard Kind, Robert Klein, David Koechner, Mina Kolb, Bob Martin, Jack McBrayer, Susan Messing, Colin Mochrie, Maribeth Monroe, Jane Morris, Bob Odenkirk, David Pasquesi, Harold Ramis, David Rasche, Horatio Sanz, Jim Staahl, Betty Thomas, Nia Vardalos, George Wendt and Fred Willard.

This is only a partial list of performers for what’s certainly going to be one of the toughest tickets of the year in Chicago (tickets for $125 go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday at 312-337-3992 and secondcity.com).

Only the 7 p.m. show is open to the public — the late-night slot is going to be a private, alumni-performing-for-alumni event. But there are numerous panels and other events also on tap (tickets $15-$25), including:

“The First Cast with Bernie Sahlins”: a screening of televised scenes featuring the 1961 Second City cast, moderated by Sahlins (10 a.m. Dec. 12);

“A Talk with David Shepherd”: an event with the co-founder of the Compass Theatre (10 a.m. Dec. 12);

“The Legacy of Paul Sills”: a tribute to the late improv guru, featuring clips from Vince Waldron’s upcoming documentary and a panel of those who worked with Sills (noon Dec. 12);

“The Jeff Garlin Combo Platter”: the comedian does his show replete with an appearance by Robert Klein and a surprise guest (noon Dec. 12);

“The Colbert Report”: Stephen Colbert will appear at the recently announced panel dedicated to his show (10 a.m. Dec. 12).
